What is A Cannabis Nurse?

Trained Medical Professionals

A cannabis nurse is a registered nurse that goes through specific education to better understand how different elements of cannabis interact with a patient and how cannabis can be applied to improve a patient’s wellbeing.

At Cannabis Nurses we have completed a graduate level certificate in cannabis science through an accredited college. We use a holistic approach and will help guide and educate patients through healing with medicinal cannabis. We are also familiar with the ethical and legal implications that arise when care crosses with the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

A cannabis nurse’s education and training is focused and incorporates knowledge of the following areas into there practice of care:

  • The body’s endocannabinoid system and how cannabis interacts with it

  • Identification of pharmaceutical drug interactions with cannabis
  • Recognize clean, safe medicine & healthy lifestyle

Our Patient Testimonials

  • “Cannabis Nurses gave me guidance on what I needed to use to relieve neck pain. The pain has been significantly reduced and I am more comfortable as a result.”

    Mary, 73

  • “Cannabis Nurses helped me so much! I’m also a healthcare professional so I am usually a bit wary of anything that will cloud my judgment. They introduced me to CBD to help curb my anxiety. It’s also been a really nice way to relax after a workout without worrying about psychedelic properties. I’d recommend Cannabis Nurses to anyone as CBD helps to alleviate pain and other forms of discomfort without risk for addiction.”

    Vanessa, 38

  • “I had pinched a nerve in my back and could barely move; the sharp pain was constant in any position. Typically this sort of injury would take a week or more to heal and render me useless for at least half of that. Cannabis Nurses directed me towards an edible Cannabis product and within about 20 minutes of consuming, the pain was almost gone and it no longer felt like the nerve was being pinched. I ate some more before bed and by morning it was like it never happened!”

    Jennifer, 47
